About Franks

Frank’s Restaurant opened in 1988 in the historic landmark of Marlow’s Supermarket. Frank Marlow operated the supermarket for 40 years and upon his retirement, Salters McClary renovated the building and opened Frank’s Restaurant and Bar.

Atmosphere

Featured in Gourmet, Bon Appetite, Southern Living and National Restaurant Magazines, Frank’s has set the standard to which other restaurants aspire. What the staff affectionately “the main dining room”, Frank’s has a low light, high style and a bustling bistro atmosphere: White linen and candlelight; Tantalizing aromas; Bold vintage posters; Hardwood floors covered with oriental rugs; Muted colors bouncing off oversized mirrors; The soothing hum of low laughter and a well-managed open kitchen.

Service

The professional service at Frank’s is low key and unobtrusive, yet attentive. The waiters are knowledgeable and well trained, most of them have been associated with the restaurant for many years.

Inside Bar

Frank’s also has an enormous, antique mahogany bar – handcrafted in the late 1800’s – and is indisputably favored among the locals. Patrons may also dine in Frank’s bar, seating for many patrons available.

“Frank’s is a comfortable, relaxing place to spend an evening.”
