About Outback

Outback is, quite literally, "out back" of Frank's, it was Frank Marlow’s Mother’s house. After opening Frank’s in 1988, Salters McClary decided to renovate the old house and open another restaurant. In 1992, Frank’s Outback opened. Initially it served only lunch, but demand grew for another quality restaurant in the area and the Outback was transformed.

Alfresco Dining

A little more casual than Frank’s, Frank’s Outback features outside and inside dining options. Outback outside is a garden setting under a canopy of trees and tents, all seating is covered and not affected by the weather, with plenty of fans. There is a marvelous open-air bar area, and expansive decks. In the Fall and Winter guests are warmed by infrared heaters and an enormous outdoor fireplace.

Inside Dining

Outback inside is two rooms accommodating up to 35 patrons, and can be accessed by walking through the open kitchen or Frank’s Way Back.

Way Back features a high ceiling tin-roof covering, an open long bar, a gathering seating area near the fireplace, and covered dining seating with plenty of fans. In the Fall and Winter guests are warmed by an enormous outdoor fireplace.

Visit Our Way Back Bar for one of our specialty drinks and/or order something from the menu.

Walk-ins are welcomed in our Way Back Rock Garden, weather permitting. You may order any Frank’s and/or Frank’s Outback daily specials or full menu items in Frank’s Way Back.
